Thompson Journals, Vol. 19 Written: April 5, 1847 Recorder's office Richmond, Ind Wayne Co, Ind Will of Euphemia McLucas Will book 3 p 41 I bequeath all my undivided right of inheritance to the land & saw mill belonging to my father at his decease being on the West River 2 miles north of Hagerstown which was purchased of James Lumpkins by Samuel McLucas, my father all my right as above I give to my two brothers John & Samuel equally I give my interest in a lot in Hagerstown owned by my father to my youngest brother Samuel both on condition that they pay $50 each to my sister Ovila if she should be left a widow before her eldest sons is of age if not, they shall pay it to her eldest son Joseph when he is 21. Give my personal property to my widowed mother Mary McLucas. Makes brother John McLucas sole Exr. Dated Apr 5, 1847. Euphemia McLucas (seal) 3 witnesses.
