The tibia and fibula were both broken, and the points of the fractured bones protruded through the skin. The fracture was compound, but the Doctor reduced it, and up to date the boy was doing well. The wonder is, that he did not have the life trampled out of him, as he was only eight years old, and was in the midst of the stampede.
