Birth:  Jan. 8, 1929 in Garnett, Anderson County, Kansas
Death:  Oct. 9, 2004 in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas

"Al", retired mechanic for Sedgwick County motor pool. He finished grade school
in Garnett and moved to Ottawa, KS and attended Ottawa High School. He joined
the US Navy and served in the Pacific during WWII. After leaving the Navy Al
came to Wichita and worked in the aircraft industry. He worked for the Salina
Police Dept. from 1957 to 1963, moved to Escondido, CA where he worked until
1983 as a mechanic. Al moved back to Wichita in 1983 where he worked for
Sedgwick Co. until his retirement in 1994.
