HOLLIE E. MCGHEE
   WESTPHALIA--Hollie E. McGhee, 93, Westphalia, died
of natural causes Wednesday, July 7, 1999, at
Anderson County Hospital. Graveside services will be
at Westphalia Cemetery at 10a.m. Saturday followed
by interment.
   He was born July 29, 1905, to Perry Leroy and 
Jenely Mae (Marsengill) McGhee, in Wayne County, Iowa.
   He married Leo Helen Sivley, February 14, 1930, at
Syracuse. She proceeded him in death.
   He had retired as vice-president of the Alkire
Trucking Company, Kansas City. He later farmed in the
Westphalia area. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge,
Kansas City.
   Survivors include son Dale McGhee, Shawnee; daughter
Maggie Sedler, Parkville, Mo.; brother Perry McGhee, Jr.;
sister Lois Volnec, Phoenix, Ariz.; six grandchildren,
13 great-grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren.
   He was preceded in death by five brothers.
   He will lie in state after 10 a.m. Friday at the
Farris-Feuerborn Chael, Garnett, where family will 
receive friends from 7 - 8 p.m. Memorial contributions
may be made to the American Heart Association.
