The Atchison Daily Champion, Atchison County, Friday, October 13, 1865
Died. At Atchison, Kansas, Oct. 12th, at one o'clock, a.m., after a lingering
and most painful illness, Susan Frances Pemberton, wife of Harvey W. FORMAN, in
the 37th year of her age.
Thus passed away from earth a wife and mother worthy to bear those honored
names--a daughter and sister, kind, loving and affectionate--a sincere, humble
and trustful Christian whose pure and blameless life robbed death of its terrors
and the grave of its gloom.
The funeral services will take place at the Baptist church on this (Friday)
monring at 10 a.m. The friends of the family are respectfully requested to
attend without further notice.
