Funeral services were Tuesday at the Clark Funeral Chapel in Osborne, the Rev. Donald McDougle officiating. Active pallbearers were Everett Storer, Bill Cady, Jake Yunk, Richard Dietz, Steve Windscheffel, and Elson Yarnell. Honorary bearers wee Walter Foster, W.C. Rogers, Lee McQuillan, Leo Garrison, Pete Swank, Waldon Deering, Dallas Cordill, Everett Garrison, Wendal Cram and Donald Gregory. Burial was in the Osborne Cemetery. Mr. Glenn was born Aug. 17, 1889 in Atchison, the son of Alexander and Clara Kirkland Glenn He attended the Atchison public schools and graduated from Atchison High School. In 1907 he worked at the City National Bank and later the Exchange National Bank. In 1915 he moved to Vernon County, Mo., where he farmed for two years. In 1916, Mr. Glenn moved to Kensington, Kan., where he entered the banking business again. In 1920, the family moved to Alton, Kan., where he became cashier and chief executive officer of the Fist State Bank of Alton. In 1934, the Alton bank absorbed the Exchange National Bank in Osbourne and the family moved to Osbo4rne. He retired in 1970. Mr. Glenn as a 50 year member of the Occidental Lodge, AF and AM of Alton, the 50 Year Club of the Kansas Bankers Association and a member of the United Church of Christ, Osborne. He served as treasurer of the Kansas Bankers Association in 1950 and 1951. He married Sallie Patterson of Atchison on Dec. 8, 1913. She preceded him in death in 1971. He then married Eleanor Patterson and she died in 1976. He is survived by a son, a daughter, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
