Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. LEE GORE, 75, died yesterday in Atchison. Funeral services will be held at the Sawin & Dyer chapel tomorrow, the Rev. C. Raymond Buck officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon cemetery with graveside Masonic services. Mr. and Mrs. Gore operated the Gore Cleaners in Atchison the last 14 years. He was a member of the Baptist church and a member of Active lodge No. 158, AF and AM. Born in Buchanan county (MO) Sugar Lake 3 Oct 1878, he was a son of Henry Akely and Emma Foley Gore, who with a sister preceded him in death. Married 2 Feb 1898, Miss Lulu Burdette in the Sugar Creek community. The family moved to Atchison in 1912. Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Oliver Auchard, Ames, IA; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; a brother, Harry Gore, Oklahoma City; a sister, Mrs. H. E. Wallace, Mackville, Kas., and a foster brother, Frank Jones, Atchison.
