MRS. LEE GORE, 84, died last night at home (Atchison) of a heart
attack.  Funeral services Wednesday at the Stanton Funeral chapel
with Rev. E. R. Talbot officiating.  Burial in Mt. Vernon
cemetery.

The former Lula Virginia Burdette was born 17 Jun 1880, daughter
of William Isom and Sarah A. Burdette, in Buchanan county, MO.
Married Lee Gore 2 Feb 1898.  They farmed in MO until 1908, when
they moved to Woodward county, OK.  In 1912 moved from OK to
Atchison.  He died Nov 1953.

Survived by daughter, Mrs. Oliver Auchard, Sr. of Atchison; two
sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Moore, Maryville, MO and Mrs. Lillian
Stagner, Denver, CO; three grandchildren and 12 great grand-
children.
