He was the father of Lt Clement (Cotton) O'Neill, city editor of The Globe for several years, who is now here on leave enroute from Cheyenne Wyo. to Pennsylvania. Mr O'Neill apparently had passed away in his sleep during the night or early this morning. The body was removed to the Harouff & Buis funeral home and will remain there pending funeral arrangements. He retired about 10 years ago after a long period of service for the Dolan company and since that time had devoted his time to a number of residential properties he had acquired during his working years. Mrs. O'Neill who before their marriage was Miss Katheryn Leonardi, passed away in 1931. Besides his son Clement, he is survived by a son Leonard (Happy) O'Neill of Baraboo Wis; two brothers, Ed of Belton, Mo, and Will of Kansas City; and two sisters, Mrs. Walton Hassler Belton Mo, and Mrs John Conners of East Atchison.
