The Atchison Daily Champion,  Atchison County,  Saturday, July 29, 1865
Died.--By the hands of violence, Augustus S. PARKER, a native of the State of
New York, aged 45 years.
Thus has passed away from our midst an upright, honorable, highminded citizen, a
kind and affectionate husband; may our Heavenly Father, who tempers the wind to
the shorn lamb, give comfort and consolation to those who mourn for him thus
ruthlessly torn from our midst.
