Near Atchison, Kan., on the 22d of Jan., 1866, of consumption, Mr. Timothy STILLINGS, aged 40 years. The deceased has long been a sufferer of this fatal disease, although he endured his illness with patience and courage, waitinig for the delivery to come and free him from all his pains and afflictions. I am fading away to the land of the blest, Like the last lingering hues of the even' Reclining my head on my kind angels breast, I soah to my own native heaven. My warfare is finished--the battle is won, To a crown and a throne I aspire. My coursets are brighter than steed of the sun, Free them from hence by eternity's light. E.C.S.
