D. Crawford Won't Contest the Disposition of her Husband's Property. Respect for wishes of her dead husband weighs more with Mrs. W. D. Crawford than her personal wishes. Yesterday she decided not to contest the will of the late W. D. Crawford whose estate is valued at $50,000. Under this will she receives half the property and $2,000. Shortly after his death she said that she was entitled to all of the property, because the other heirs under the present will come in for a share through a former wife of Crawford. W. D. Crawford was a Barber County rancher. He made a will shortly before his death, naming C. Q. Chandler, president of the Kansas National Bank, executor. At that time he delivered to Mr. Chandler $23,000 in cash which the banker delivered into court today. The will was probated in the court today. Mr. Chandler gave bond for $100,000.
