b. Medicine Lodge KS Barber co, d. Kiowa ks barber co, Retired from farming at
the age of 83. Preceded in death by his mother, Alice Tharp and brother, Jerry
Tharp. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, Mason with a 32nd degree for 65
years. Cecil served in the Army from 8-27-42 to 10-45 as a PFC in infantry,
receiving Purple Heart, Bronze Star, President Unit Emblem and many more.
