Birth: 1-28-1927 Death: 12-9-2005 b. Hardtner ks Barber co, d. Hutchinson ks Reno co, S/O Royce and Leone Loster Gerstner. He attended Bethany College, Lindsborg, and Colorado Springs School of Fine Arts. A resident of Hutchinson, formerly of Medicine Lodge, he owned and operated his own sign company in Salina for eight years, worked for Alexander Film Company in Colorado Springs, Colo., was a design artist for Lowen Sign Co. and was a professional artist. He belonged to United Methodist Church, Hutchinson. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during World War II. On May 29, 1976, he married Alice E. Gerstner. She died Nov. 8, 2005.
