b. Gore OK Sequoyah Co, d. Great Bend Ks Barton co, D/O Oscar Owens and Eunice
Collins Owens. A resident of Ellinwood since 1946, she was a high school cook,
retiring in 1991. She belonged to Immanuel United Church of Christ, was a
40-year member of Rebecca Lodge and was a member of the American Legion and
Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, all at Ellinwood. On Aug. 4, 1939, she
married Roy M. Griffin at Tulsa, Okla. He died July 5, 1990.She was preceded in
death by a daughter, Sandra Sue Griffin; two brothers, Charles and Edgar Owens;
and two sisters, Anna Mae Crabtree and Josephine Baldridge.
