b. Munjor ks Ellis co, d. Great Bend ks Barton co, S/O Peter A. and Amelia
Sander Hertel. A resident of Great Bend since 1941, formerly of Munjor, he
worked for Parrish Motor Co. for 42 years, retiring as a manager.He belonged to
the Catholic Community of Great Bend, St. Patrick, the American Legion and
Sunflower Polka Club. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II.
On Aug. 18, 1941, he married Regina Sander at Walker. She died Aug. 22, 1990. 
He was preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Hertel; and two grandchildren.
