Hiss, John Robert
Birth: 4-18-1924
Death: 8-4-2005

b. Great bend ks barton co, d. wichita, S/O Elward and Carrie Williams Hiss. He
graduated from Great Bend High School in 1941. A lifetime resident of Great
Bend, he was a dairyman, was employed with the Great Bend Co-Op in personal
relations for 10 years and was former president on the board of directors. He
belonged to First Presbyterian Church, Great Bend, serving as a trustee and an
elder. He was an active member of Presbyterian Men's Club, Elks Club, Masonic
Lodge, charter member of the Sons of American Legion Post No. 180 and past
president and director of Board of Associated Milk Producers Inc. He was
preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Jane Hiss.
