Salina KS Saline co, d. Mulvane KS Sumner co, D/O Dewitt & Anita Thomason, A long battle with Parkinson's Disease and cancer. Eva was born in Salina, KS on July 11,1921, the youngest of five children . Eva spent her early years and attended school in Ellinwood, KS. Eva married Norman J. Kowalsky on Jan. 20, 1945. In 1955, Norman and Eva moved to Attica, KS and founded Pork's Welding Service, which they operated together until Norman's death in 1965. Eva was then editor of the Attica Independent newspaper for a number of years, but later moved to the Wichita area and worked at Wesley Medical Center until her retirement in 1986.
