Carmel Medical Center in Pittsburg, Kansas. She was a resident of Bourbon County, Kansas since 1974 and was well known for her kindness and helping of others. She was a member of the Christian Church of Mapleton, Kansas where she was baptised. She was born November 19, 1932 in Pittsburg, Kansas the daughter of the late Joseph William Lee Sr. and Glennie Lucille Harmon. She married Raymond Eugene Sickles on May 17, 1949 at Clinton, Missouri. She is survived by her husband Raymond of the home, sons; Raymond Sickles Jr., Roger Sickles and wife RuthAnn of Redfield,Ks. Luke Sickles and Wife Brenda of Cheseapeak, Va. daughters; Debbie Chirco and husband Richard of Phoenix Az., Donna Beal and husband Russell of Mapleton, Ks, Connie May and husband John David of Garland, Ks. Many Grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brother; Gerald V. Lee and wife Lora of Davenport, Ia, sisters; Annabell Endorf and husband Murle of Davenport, Ia, and Bertha E. Hickman of Cushing, Ok. She was preceeded in death by a daughter; Kathlene Ann Sickles in 1952; both of her parents; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Bath-Naylor Funeral Home will conduct services with burial in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Pittsburg Kansas. Rev. Robin Reeves of Bourbon County will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Foundation and left in care of Bath-Naylor Funeral Home. Additional Comments: Peggy Jo (Lee) Sickles raised Chickens for their eggs inwhich she gave generously of hundreds of dozens to help others. She often delivered groceries to shut in's. She helped her community greatly and asked nothing in return. She milked cows for 16 years until she retired in 1991. She will be greatly missed.
