The Hiawatha Daily World, August 14, 1915
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Copeland died Saturday morning at 5:03 o'clock at her 
home, 201 Utah street.  Mrs. Copeland was stricken with paralysis, Sunday 
morning and was unable to rally from the stroke.  Mary Elizabeth Harmon was 
born at Highland, in 1858 and was 57 years and five months of age.  She is 
survived by her husband and her mother, Mrs. Matilda A. Harmon, who made her 
home with the Copelands.  The body will be sent to Maitland, Mo., Monday 
morning for burial and will be in state at the on Saturday afternoon from 3 to 
5 p.m.
