The Hiawatha Daily World, August 23, 1916
Gale Haflich left about ten days ago for Garden City to visit James Tyler and 
while there his youngest son, Raymond, took sick and died Saturday at the 
Tyler home.  The body was brought to Fairview Tuesday and his funeral services 
were held at the Haflich residence that afternoon and burial made in the Tyler 
cemetery south of town.  Raymond was about five years old.
