The Fairview Enterprise, Fairview, KS, February 11, 1893
OBITUARY:  Sylvester Johns, who has been sick for the past year with the 
consumption finally succombed to the inevitable and died at his home in 
Fairview, Sunday morning, Feb. 5, 1893.  The funeral was held at the Baptist 
church, Tuesday, Rev. Brink officiating, and was buried in the Fairview 
cemetary.  He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his loss.
