October 8, 1882. In early childhood, September 21, 1890, she became a member of Christ's fold by the sacred rite of baptism. On September 7, 1902, she renewed her covenant with God by the confirmation of her faith, the same as is held by the Evangelical Lutheran Church. Since that time she has been an active, devout and faithful Christian. After a lingering illness, God, on January 18, 1904, called her to her eternal reward, her time here being but 21 years, three months and ten days. Funeral services and burial took place at Sycamore Springs. Rev. H. Specht, Lutheran pastor, officiated.
