Walnut Valley Times, Volume XXXIII, Number 1 January 24, 1902
FOUNTAINE-FOULKS: Married at the residence of the bride's daughter, Mrs. Grace 
Johnston, at Olathe, Kansas, Thursday evening, January 16, Emma B. Foulks to 
William H. Fountaine, both of El Dorado. Mr. Fountaine came to El Dorado in 
1185 and since January of the following year has been associated with the El 
Dorado Water Company in the capacity of manager. His wife formerly lived here 
afterward in Topeka and for the last year has been in the millinery business 
here, disposing of her stock to Mrs. MacRitche only last week. They came in 
from Olathe on this evening's Santa Fe and have commenced housekeeping in the 
Fountaine residence on Vine street. Both of these estimable people have many 
friends who extend best wishes and congratulations.
