The Walnut Valley Times March 11, 1904
Jos. B. Riddle and his bride (nee Eva Eva Swain) passed through El Dorado at 
noon. They were married at Fort Scott, yesterday March 2. A "bunch" of young 
lady associates of Mrs. Riddle went up to the Mo. P. to meet the happy pair 
and duly razzle dazzled them, viz. the Misses Mamie Austin, Mary Patison, Bay 
Giffin, Margaret Rhoads, Alma Bartels and Ola. Bessie and Berta Brown. Mr. and 
Mrs. Riddle are given a reception at Mr. Riddle's former home, Andover, this 
evening.
