There were just thirteen young ladies and after much persuasion Mrs. Frazier was introducted to make the fourteenth and so keep away the supposed bad luck. The menu was as follows: Cold boiled tongue, veal loaf, salmon salad, sandwiches, potato salad, beet salad, olives, pickles, potato chops, iced tea, amprosia fruit salad, pine apple ice and cake and was enjoyed by the Misses Grace Black, Nellie Cooper, Mary Gardner, Myrtle and Lida Lou Shelden, Katie Weller, Bessie and Mamie Austin, Nora Chapin, Vida McRitchie, Zona Brown and Ethel Williford of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
