A quiet celebration was enjoyed by the couple with dinner at a restaurant and visiting with friends. Miss June Stephenson became the bride of Jack Bevan on October 19, 1940 at Wichita. She had lived in Denver, Colo., and Wichita before her marriage. Mr. Bevan was born and reared at Weir, Kans., and moved to Wichita in 1937. The Bevans are the parents of two daughters, and one son, Mrs. Floyd Dutton, of Augusta, Eileen 11, and Jack 16, of the home, and a granddaughter, Sheila Dutton, 3 years old. Mr. and Mrs. Bevan have lived in the Towanda area the past ten years, moving here from El Dorado.
