He was 49 years old. Mr. Adams had lived in this area for the past 46 years. He moved to Oil Hill from Pryor, Okla. In 1918 and lived there until moving to El Dorado 23 years ago. He had been employed as foreman for Lewis & West since 1945. Mr. Adams was graduated from El Dorado High school. He was a veteran of World War II, serving as a lieutenant with the corps of Army engineers. Mr. Adams was born Jan. 9, 1915 at Pryor. He and Neva Stratton were married Jan. 20, 1946 at El Dorado. She survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Cynthia Leann, of the home; and one brother, Howard, England Air Force Base, Alexandria, La. Funeral services will be announced by the Kirby Funeral Home.
