MRS. MARVIN BROWN DIES AT WICHITA 

Mrs. Marvin N. Brown, a former resident of Haverhill, died Wednesday afternoon 
at a Wichita hospital. She was 78 years old.

Mrs. Brown had made her home at Wichita for the past several years since moving 
from Haverhill. She had also lived in Colorado.

She was a member of the Wichita Hillside Christian church and the ivy Leas 
chapter of the Eastern Star. 

She was born July 30, 1885, at Haverhill and was married to Mr. Brown July 8, 
1908. 

Survivors include the husband: three brothers, Slade Boone, El Dorado, Ray 
Boone, Mulvane and LaVerne M. Boone, Wichita; four sisters, Mrs. Jessie 
Kistler, Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. Melvina Cronk, Eureka, and Mrs. Della Sapp and Mrs. 
Ruby Boucher, both of Augusta, one son, J. Kenneth Brown, Wichita; one 
grandson, Gary Kenneth Brown, Wichita, nine nieces and five nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Broadway mortuary in 
Wichita. Interment will be in El Dorado’s Sunset Lawn Cemetery at 3:30 p.m.

Funeral services for Mrs. Marvin N. Brown, 78, a former resident of Haverhill 
who died Wednesday, were held Saturday at the Broadway mortuary chapel in 
Wichita. Interment was in Sunset Lawns Cemetery here.

The Rev. Dr. D. K. McColl, pastor of the Hillside Christian church, officiated 
at the services. 

Organ selections were played by Mrs. John N. Fee. 

Casket bearers included Ray Sapp, James Boone, Rolla Boucher, Richard Boone, 
Milford Boucher and Russell Sluss, Jr.
