Rev. Samuel Paulding officiated A sextet composed of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gibbs, Mrs. Belle Marshall and Melvin Garver, sang “Shall We Gather At The River,” “Does Jesus Care,” and “Rock of Ages,” They were accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Anita Souders. Pallbearers were: Grant Doughty, Alex Greenup, John Van Meter, George Pickrell, Joe Butts and Frank Green. Interment was made in the Leon Cemetery. The Byrd Funeral Home was in charge.
