The Douglass Tribune, August 4, 1933
Word came to Mrs. Sam Hall and Mrs. Robert Dennett, Saturday, that their 
father, Solomon Corn, was seriously ill at his home at Chickasha, Oklahoma. 
They hurried to his bedise and word came Monday that he had passed on. The 
funeral was held Tuesday. Mr. Corn was well and favorably known to Rose Hill 
people. They resided in the Chapel community for many years.
