L. Hollenbeck, 82 years old, died at 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon at her home, north of Pontiac, where she had lived 53 years. She came to Kansas as a bride in March, 1874, settling on a farm near Pontiac. Her husband died on March 8, 1915. Mrs. Hollenbeck, was born in New York state. Four years after coming to Kasnas, she joined the Methodist Church and was active in organizing and building the first church of that denomination in Pontiac. Mrs. Hollenbeck is survived by four children, T. W. Hollenbeck, of Finney County; N.L. and O.B. Hollenbeck, who live on the home place; and Mrs. Bertha Miller, of El Dorado; and by two brothers and a sister, who live in New York. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Methodist Church in El Dorado. The Wigginton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Hollenbeck, 82 years old, who died Monday at her home, north of Pontiac, have been postponed until 2 o'clock Friday afternoon. They will be held at the El Dorado Methodist Church. Rev. Paul F. Holmes, of Midian, will officiate. Burial will be in the Pontiac Cemetery. The Wigginton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
