Mr. James was a well known character here. He was an ex-union soldier. His death was unexpected. No arrangements for the funeral are made. His brother is expected from Minnesota tomorrow. Mr. James death was caused by heart disease. He was born in England, came to America as a boy, was married to Sarah J. Day, November 28, 1866. A daughter, Mrs. Jeff Rush and a son Wm. James, survive him. He was a member of A company in the 23rd Ohio.
