J. Jones on the Thayer farm east of El Dorado, died of morphine poisoning, about 9 p.m. February 15. Dr. W. O. Bennett was attending Mrs. Jones and left her a box of morphine pills. These were accidently left where the child reached them and ate them probably about 4 p.m. This is another chapter in the several horrors that have occured hereabouts lately. The funeral of the little one occures tomorrow and burial will be made at Pontiac.
