Karnahan at her home in north El Dorado. The deceased was born in Richland county, Ohio Nov. 4, 1884. She united with the U. P. Church in Haysville, Ohio when she was but eighteen and has always remained a devoted and true Christian woman. She was married to Wm. Karnahan Feb. 15. 1866. To this union was born three children, Mrs. E. W. Kirkpatrick of Lawton, Oklahoma; R. M. Karnahan of Augusta; and Ralph who is still at home. The early part of her life was spent in Ohio. Her husband and family moved to Elvaston, Ill. In 1873; and from there they moved to El Dorado in 1900 where she has since resided. She has been a patient sufferer from cancer for several years and has been confined to her bed for nine long weeks. During all her sickness she was cheerful and always had a smile for everyone who came to see her. She was prepared to go and talked to the family and friends about meeting them again. Their many friends sympathize with the husband and children in their bereavement. The funeral occurred from the family residence Tuesday morning at 10:00 o’clock. Reverns Harkness conducted the services. Her mortal body will be buried in Belle Vista Cemetery.
