            Had Funeral at Wichita
    Rev. A. B. Kirk was called to Wichita last
Friday to conduct funeral services for Mrs.
Fred Kluckhuhn, who died at Gordon, Kansas,
March 7, after an illness of about two years.
    She was born in Monroe County, Ohio, and
came to Kansas in 1887. She was married to 
Andrew Twiggs, and to this union were born 
four children, who are Mrs. Eva Watt of 
Augusta, Chas. Twiggs of Gordon, D. E. Twiggs
of Winfield and G. E. Twiggs of Augusta. Andrew
died in 1904 and the widow was married to
Fred Kluckhuhn.
    The son, Charles, lived here for several
years, where he was a telegraph operator and
was a member of the Conway Springs Band, when
it was at its height as an organization. D.
E. Twiggs lived at Clearwater and directed
the band there, and is known here.
