She was sick but a week, carried off by malarial fever. She had been assistant cashier in the Augusta (Okla) bank and was assistant postmaster at the time of her death. She was esteemed and loved by a wide circle. Her body was brought here and today was buried in the West Cemetery. Her father and sister, Maud, came but Mrs. Parker's sickness prevented her attendance. Mr. Alfred Duncan and Robert McAllister also accompanied the party. The funeral occurred from the Castle undertaking rooms at 8 p.m. today under suspices of the local Rebekah Lodge of which the deceased was a member at Carmen Oklahoma.
