BURNS ARE FATAL TO WHITEWATER WOMAN 

Mrs. Elzie Persyn, aged 23 years, of Whitewater, who was badly burned at her 
home the first of the week when she poured kerosene on a smoldering fire, died 
at a Newton hospital Tuesday night. She is survived by her husband and baby. 
Mrs. Persyn was well known in the Whitewater Community where she had lived for 
a number of years.
