Walnut Valley Times, November 6, 1908
At Rest

Died:  At his home on Durachen, in Chelsea Township Wednesday, November 4, 1908 
of cancer of the stomach Samuel Ramsey, aged 70 years.

Mr. Ramsey was never married. He was an uncle of J. P. Ramsey of Sycamore, 
Samuel Ramsey of Oklahoma and Bernard Ramsey of Latham.

The funeral occurred from the Catholic Church in El Dorado, Thursday November 
5, at 10 o'clock a.m., conducted by Father James Hayes of Augusta, followed by 
interrment in the Catholic cemtery near Augusta.
