Died today, May 9, John A. Scott. He died on his 30th birthday. Mr. Scott was 
a carpenter and last fall fell while working at Dodge City and injured his 
side. He has been ailing continuously since gradually failing until he passed 
away. He was a son-in-law of John Pickrell of El Dorado and died at his home 
leaving a wife and two children to mourn. The funeral occurs at 2 p.m. 
tomorrow May 10.
