Hold Rites for John Shrader

John Shrader, 57, of Osawatomie, former El Doradoan, died there Sunday and was 
buried this morning in West Cemetery here. Furneral services were held at 
Whitewater with the Smith Brothers Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Shrader left El Dorado about five years ago for Kansas City and later 
removed to Osawatomie. He was born on March 5, 1876, at Lawrence.

Surviving are his widow; four daughters, Mrs. Fern Sims of El Dorado, Mrs. Opal 
McGahan, of Whitewater, and Faye Pauline Shrader and Genevieve Shrader, both of 
Whitewater; and one son, Billy, also of Whitewater.

Mr. Shrader was a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge here and Odd Fellows from 
Whitewater and El Dorado took part in the services this morning.
