He was 69 years old and had been in ill health for about two years. Mr. Soderberg was born at Sand, Sweden on May 8, 1864 and prior to coming to El Dorado had resided in Wichita. He was married to Miss Agnes Freeman at Junction city. The El Doradoan was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow; five sons, William Soderberg, of Oklahoma City, Okla., Edward and A. W. Soderberg, both of Wichita, O. m. Soderberg, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Ira Soderberg, also of Wichita, three daughters, Mrs. Anna Arnett, of Dwight, Kan.; Mrs. Ella Quiring of Leavenworth, and Mrs. Cox; a brother, Alfred Soderberg, of Dwight; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced through the Byrd & Snodgrass Funeral Home at Wichita. Interment will be made in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery there.
