She was 53 years old. Before coming to El Dorado Mrs. Spunaugle had lived at Eureka for 10 years. She also had resided at Howard, at Hamilton, Mo., and in Iowa. She was born in the latter state April 18, 1887. The El Dorado resident was married twice, her first husband having been George Stokes. Her marriage to Mr. Spunaugle occurred in 1914. Mrs. Spunaugle was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband; five sons, Daniel and Charles Spunaugle, both of El Dorado; James F. Stokes of Ovit, Colo.; William Stokes, of Wichita; two daughters, Mrs. Ed Mars and Mrs. Marvin Church, both of El Dorado, three brothers, three sisters and 12 grandchildren. Another daughter, Mrs. Goldie Marie Hudson, died in March, 1935. Funeral arrangements have not been completed but will be announced through the Byrd Funeral Home.
