He was 72 years old and had been in failing health for six years. Mr. Supple was a former probate judge of Saline County and had also engaged in the insurance business. Before coming to El Dorado he had resided in Salina for 40 years and had also lived in Illinois. He was born at St. Augustine, Ill., on January 7, 1861, and was married to Miss Vira Brown there on April 3, 1884. he was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, at Salina and the Modern Woodman of America there. The Rosary will be held at the Byrd Funeral Home this evening at 8 o’clock and funeral services will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church tomorrow morning at 9:30. Rev. Father Damian Sander, O. F. M. of St. Anthony’s Church, in Wichita will be in charge. Interment will be made in West Cemetery. Surviving are his widow: two daughters, Mrs. Pearle Supple Carlton and Mrs. Irene Harwood, both of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sons, Ray Supple of Salina and L. J. Supple of Culver City, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. John Tanney of Los Angeles, Calif.
