H. Wilbur have received word of the tragic death of Miss Emily E. Taylor, former resident of El Dorado, at Denver, Colo., recently. Miss Taylor was struck by an automobile on December 26. The accident happened that evening, near her home. Miss Taylor assured the police, who brought her to her apartment following the accident, that she was not seriously hurt and would call her friends if necessary. It is believed she collapsed immediately. Thirty-six hours later she was found in a semi-conscious state by the manager of the apartment. She died on December 29 at Porter Sanitarium. Miss Taylor will be remembered by her many friends here for her faithful service in the Red Cross during the World War. Her pleasing personality and never-failing cheerfulness gained for her a host of friends. While at El Dorado, Miss Taylor resided at the home of the late Mrs. J. B. Templeton, on West Central Avenue. Miss Taylor was born in England. She leaves one relative, a cousin, living at St. Paul, Minn. Miss Taylor was a member of the Episcopal Church. Burial was made at the Crown Hill Cemetery, at Denver.
