Turner and a young man were living in bachelor quarters in the woods a few miles from here. In preparing a meal they made mistake and used arsenic instead of baking powder. They tried to save themselves by drinking coffee. The younger man fought death for several hours, when he was able to drag himself to the nearest settlement for medical attention.
