She was born at El Dorado, February 3, 1935. She had lived in the Cassoday community most of her life, and was a sixth grade student in the Cassoday schools. Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Watkins, grandparents, T. G. Watkins of Cassoday, and Mr. and Mrs. C. I. Sturgeon, Emporia; two brothers, L. Gregory Jr. and George Robert and three sisters, Ida Louise, Sharon Loucille and Ruth Marie. Services were held at the Cassoday Methodist Church Sunday afternoon, the Rev. L. F. Swanson officiating. Interment was in the Cassoday cemetery. Byrd Funeral Home was in charge.
