WILKERSON 

A phone message to Charles Quest announces the death of John Wilkerson at his 
home on Hog Creek, November 27. Mr. Wilkerson was about 65 years old and was a 
good man and citizen. He was one of the earliest – one of the very first – to 
settle in the Flint Hills of northeast Butler county. He leaves a wife and six 
children, Mrs. A. Ohlsen, Mrs. Effie Rhea, Mrs. Sarah Clark; Jennie, John, Tom, 
Mack and Jacob.
