FORMER BAXTER MAN DIES OF INJURIES Benjamin Huston Fatally Hurt in Train Wreck at Garden City, Kan. - Body to Be Returned. Baxter Springs, Kan., April 20, 1948 Mrs. Frances Huston, 809 West Avenue, received a telegram this morning stating that her son, Benjamin Huston, had died of injuries received in a train wreck at Garden City, Kan., yesterday. No details of the wreck were obtained, but he died at the St. Catherine's hospital at Garden City, where he was taken following the accident. A half-brother, Jim Huston, was with him at the time of his death, and his brother, Wesly Huston, arrived there about three hours later. He had lived in Baxter Springs practically all of his life, and had gone to Garden City about three months ago. His body will be returned here for burial.
