Myrtle was my great, married to Elmo Henry. was in OK doing research last week. Discovered Myrtle's obit in the paper. I found a township in Cloud county Kansas named Meredith, but didn't find a town so named. ELMO HENRY DIES AFTER BRIEF ILLNES Mrs. Myrtle Ivy Henry, wife of Elmo Henry, pioneers of Sulphur, died Thursday, December 8th about noon at the local hospital after an illness of less than two weeks. Mrs. Henry, a native of Kansas, was born at Meredith, April 19, 1878. The family came to Sulphur from Oklahoma City in 1905 and have since that time made this their home. She was a devout member of the Methodist church; an active worker in the Missionary society, one of the first in our city, to seek out and render charitable aid where needed. Her good deeds were many and hers was a character loved by all. She is survived by her husband, Elmo Henry, her mother, Mrs. Mary Pinkerton, daughter, Miss Madeline Henry and two sons, Harry and Frank. Funeral services were held at the First Methodist church, Friday Dec. 9th. Rev. Ernest L. Lloyd, officiat- ing. The remains rest in Oaklawn cemetery.
